Three interesting stories; The Secret Promise, The moonlit Mystery and The Stolen Crystals, were compiled into a single book, really value for money. I like The Secret Promise the most. In that story, Emily accompanied her parents to King Gudland's castle and over there she came to know her three friends; Jaminta, Clarabel and Lulu. They found that they have the same love for animals and dread for the prim and proper royal parties and mannerism. By accident, they stumbled across animal traps set in the forest by King Gudland's cousin, Duke Raven and the readers would be enthralled by how the outwitted the Duke and unravel his plot to the King. And the four princesses pledged to form a team to rescue and aid animals - that was how the Rescue Princesses were formed.
In Moonlit Mystery, we were brought into the world of Lulu's home land; the Kingdom of Undala. Upon stumbling on Lady's Malika's plan to trap and train animals for her circles. The Rescue Princesses demonstrated courage and wit in rescuing the trapped lioness and her cubs without endangering their life!
In the Stolen Crystals, the secret of Ally was revealed. The kind heartedness of Jaminta was revealed when she willed herself to surrender her hard made Star Crystals to the scoundrel Earl Scrant in exchange for the safety of a panda cub. Te readers would be relieved and excited with the discovery of the long lost Heart Crystals of Onica. I was most amazed by how the Star Crystals "sang" to "free" the buried Heart Crystals of Onica.
My daughter loves these books! They are a quick read.
